| Gusto Sparkling Kola started life back in 1986, the creation of Craig Sams who founded Green & Blacks chocolate and Whole Earth Foods. Originally a recipe developed in Craig’s kitchen laboratory on the Portobello Road, Gusto was a family recipe for parties and nights out where alcohol free stimulation was required. |

| In 1990 Craig’s kids Karim and Rima launched Gusto – the world’s first organic, apple juice sweetened, herbal energy drink. In a world now crowded with synthetic, sugar and caffeine based energy drinks Gusto has remained a unique and consistent source of organic, sugar free natural energy. |

| In December 2011 Karim Sams and his business partner William Fugard sketched out a new future for Gusto. Winter and Spring were spent in research and recipe development and Gusto Sparkling Lemon and Gusto Sparkling Orange were born. |

| In May 2012 the original Gusto, now called Sparkling Kola, and the two new flavours went into production and hit the shelves in July 2012. |
| The Gusto family of drinks remain true to their roots. We never use sugar, just sweeten with fair trade apple juice. Gusto drinks are organic, powered by a generous pinch of Amazon Guarana and each drink has a unique blend of botanicals to stimulate, aid concentration, strengthen the immune system and alleviate stress. |
